From Minsk to Haifa:
Roman, born in Minsk Belarus, immigrated to Israel at the age of two, grew up in the southern port city of Ashdod. Today the actor lives in Haifa.

In 2015 at the European Championship until age 20 in Italy, Sorkin averaged 5.3 points and 3.6 rebounds in nine games, scoring 52% of the field.
