As part of the Green’s annual visit to the Ruth Rappaport Children’s Hospital in Haifa, Maccabi Hunter Haifa and Klil brought holiday cheer to young patients and their families to celebrate Hanukkah.
Head Coach, Offer Rahimi, was joined by team captain Oz Blayzer, Dagan Yivzori, Guni Israeli and Luke Martinez as well as Klil staff members and CMO, Yoni Robinson, today (Sunday) as they handed out gifts to children in the Oncology department of the Hospital.
“We have a warm spot in our hearts for Rambam Hospital and, personally, I am very connected to this place — especially to the Oncology department staff,” Rahimi said. “We visited today with four players and our team staff as well as our sponsor ‘Klil’, who gave their time to the children in the hospital. I hope that we were able to bring them a little bit of joy and spread the holiday spirit.”
At the beginning of the visit, the children gathered in the department lobby, to light Hanukkah candles with the Green players, who walked from room-to-room saying hello, taking photos, signing autographs, and giving out presents to the children.
“Klil, a leading brand and an advocate for giving back, is proud to be an active participant in the community and that is why we have collaborated with Maccabi Hunter Haifa’s community program for the fourth straight year,” Klil CMO, Yoni Robinson said.
