Maccabi Hunter Haifa, the 2016-17 Israeli Super League runner-up, announced today that they have signed power forward/center Reggie Buckner through the 2017-18 season. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Reggie is a talented big guy who will help us in the paint,” said Maccabi Hunter Haifa head coach Offer Rahimi. “We believe he’ll continue to improve in his third season in Israel.”

Buckner, 26, returns to Haifa after appearing in 30 regular season games (four starts) for the Greens during the 2015-16 season where he posted averages of 8.4 points and 4.4 rebounds in 16.8 minutes per game.
