Maccabi Hunter Haifa, the 2016-17 Israeli Basketball Super League runner-up, announced today that they have implemented a new digital and mobile ticketing smart entrance system for the upcoming 2017-18 season.
“As Maccabi Hunter Haifa continuously strives to provide our fans with an enhanced, convenient, and secure ticketing experience, we’re excited to introduce the availability of mobile ticketing and print-at-home paper tickets,” said Assaf Rozenblatt, CEO of Maccabi Hunter Haifa. “Our new smart entrance system will improve the fan experience at Romema Arena, making getting into the arena simple, fast, and efficient.”
The new system will benefit season ticket holders, providing the ability to manage, renew and pay for their season tickets online. If season ticket holders are unable to attend a game, the new platform would allow them to forward their unused tickets to another person electronically via email. Once forwarded, users can then download and print their tickets from their home, or use their Smartphone when entering Romema Arena.
Fans purchasing group and single game tickets online at mhbasket.co.il, will now have the ability to purchase tickets via your Smartphone. A seat upgrade feature will also be available for purchase via the new digital and mobile ticketing platform. The Greens’ new platform will also benefit the environment by reducing the amount of printed paper.
The smart entrance system will be introduced in the team’s preseason game against Hapoel Tel Aviv on Sunday, October 10th at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are complimentary, but fans will be required to log on to mhbasket.co.il and secure the tickets online.
