“It’s been a rewarding and eye-opening experience – to the say the least – to be the owner of an Israeli professional basketball team. While we had our ups and
downs, witnessing our team and our city of Haifa, lifting their first-ever League championship in the 60-year history of Israeli basketball, is a memory I’ll never
forget,” said Rosen. “Algemeiner is an important bridge in the media world, with the coverage of what is really happening, on the ground in Israel, and across the globe. It’s why I am passionate about Algemiener and the work that Dovid Efune, our executive director, does on a daily basis. Israel and the Jewish people face many obstacles in the world, and Algemeiner is the media outlet that I trust to tackle these issues head on.”

“With mounting challenges for Israel and the Jewish people, we identified a great need to highlight and celebrate the work and lives of the dedicated and inspiring individuals who are positively impacting the Jewish future and recognize their contributions and sacrifices,” said Algemeiner Editor Dovid Efune.
