Macacbi Hunter Haifa received an invitation and will be represented by vice chairman Arnon Shiran, who flew to Paris to take part in the ceremony.
“We are sending our vice chairman Arnon Shiran to the meeting in Paris to hear more about the new European league next season. While no decision has been made about our participation, we’re glad to have Maccabi Haifa represented, and we look forward to gaining more knowledge about the league,” said Maccabi Hunter Haifa team owner Jeff Rosen.
“We were happy to receive the invitation from FIBA to participate in the ceremony of the new Champions League, and be part of the teams who are marked as a realistic candidate to play there,” vice chairman Arnon Shiran added.
