Maccabi Bazan Haifa, the 2013-14 Israeli Basketball Super League runner-up, is pleased to announce that the team has partnered with FanZone, an innovative social service for sports clubs supporters and avid fans, to plan their trip to the games, enhance their experience to and from the game, chat with other fans and reduce their traveling expenses. The app is already live and Maccabi Bazan Haifa fans are welcome to join the service and mark themselves as going to the upcoming game against Maccabi Tel Aviv this Sunday at Romema at 7:15pm.
FanZone, which has quickly established itself as the leading sports mobile application in Israel, is cooperating with several major league football clubs in Israel, including the Maccabi Haifa Football Club.
In order to encourage fans to use the new carpooling capabilities of FanZone and plan their joint trips quickly and easily, Maccabi Bazan Haifa announced today that it will designate a select number of parking spots in Parking Lot 3 for drivers who used FanZone and carpooled with at least 3 or more fans to come to the game.
“FanZone is an effective service for our fans, which will enhance their experience when coming to the games by reducing the costs and easing the pressure of finding parking at Romema,” said Maccabi Bazan Haifa vice chairman Arnon Shiran. “We are thankful to the ‘Green Apes’ fan organization, which initiated the connection between us and FanZone to offer this unique service, which is suitable for a large part of our fanbase.”
“We are very excited to launch the new Maccabi Bazan Haifa FanZone,” said today Ori Shilo, FanZone CEO and Co-Founder. “Maccabi Bazan Haifa fans stick with the club through thick and thin. This cooperation will enable us to help them get to more games in an easier and more economical way”.
