Maccabi loses 88:123 to Memphis, Seoane: “Glad we stayed competitive until the end”

Maccabi Haifa reached the home of the Memphis Grizzlies this evening for the first of three in the United States team game against the NBA teams.
The Greens chased down the Memphis for most of the game, with the scoreboard at 88: 123.

Maccabi started in the following quintet:
Gregory Vargas, Scott Suggs, James Young, Roman Sorkin, and Eric Anderson.

Daniel Seoane: “We knew how to compete in just a few minutes of the game. It’s not easy to compete against a team from the best league in the world and certainly against athletes at that level. It’s very easy to break and I’m glad we stayed competitive until the end.”

On Young’s performance, the coach added: “Young is a great player. He showed all his set of abilities tonight.”
