Maccabi Haifa Club announces the signing of the Canadian / Israeli guard Tom Maayan on a contract until the end of the 2018/19 season.
Maayan, 25, joins the team after opening the season with Maccabi Ashdod / Beer Tuvia of the Winner Basket.
Guard played in 20 games this season, averaging 4.3 points, 4.8 assists and 2.8 rebounds in 23 minutes.
The Guard, which stands at 1.85, recorded 125 performances in the Winner’s Basket in the Maccabi Ashdod / Beer Tuvia teams, Bnei Herzeliya and Hapoel Jerusalem, which won the championship in the 2014/15 season.

Tom Maayan, born in Montreal, Canada, immigrated to Israel already as a young boy.
Maayan also played in the college league at the University of Seton Hall between 2012-2014 before he could start his adult career at Hapoel Jerusalem.
