Gal Pondik and Arik Kibler, two students of the Leo Baeck youth brigade, arrived Thursday morning at the home hall in Romema to watch the team’s training and meet with Maccabi Haifa players. Gal and Arik, came as part of the “Dreams Come True” project, accompanied by Bill Miller, the project coordinator.
The two happy boys were given a tour of the auditorium, which included entering the club’s rooms and dressing room. The two were photographed with the players, signed and even played with the players immediately after the training.
The encounter aroused great excitement, both among the students and the staff, and among the team players and the professional staff.
Barak Peleg, the team’s coach, told the meeting: “When I arrived at the club, one of the first things I was told was that the club had made a donation to the community, and this morning we were happy to host two teenagers who are also fans of the team. Personally, the meeting was very moving and I was happy to see that the youth also asked, were interested and enjoyed. ”
