Coming off a loss at Ashdod last week, Maccabi Hunter Haifa (7-17) will look to turn around their fortunes as they step on the court against Hapoel Tel Aviv (13-12) on Sunday night at Romema. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
The Reds from Tel Aviv come into Sunday’s game after winning against Bnei Herzliya, 91-78, at home.
Maccabi Hunter Haifa announces that it will register the following foreign players for the upcoming game against Hapoel Tel Aviv: Trahson Burrell, Angel Rodriguez, Trevor Gaskins, Reggie Buckner and Zach Graham. Brandon Bowman will not be registered for the game.

Maccabi competed against Maccabi Ashdod last week at Hakirya Arena and suffered an 85-74 defeat — the team’s third straight loss. Reggie Buckner (14 points, 6 rebounds), Angel Rodriguez (12 points, 4 assists, 4 steals), and Oded Brandwein (11 points) recorded solid performances.

Looking for the Season Sweep
In the two meetings this season between the teams, Maccabi managed to win both against Hapoel. In the seventh game of the season, the Greens traveled to Tel Aviv and had a dominating performance. From the opening tip, the Greens never relented en route to an 95-74 victory. Oz Blayzer (29 pts, 10 rebounds), Brandon Bowman (17 pts, 7 rebounds), and Angel Rodriguez (12 pts) excelled in the contest.
In the 18th Round, Maccabi defeated Hapoel Tel Aviv, 82-77, at Romema. The Panamanian guard Trevor Gaskins finished as the team’s leading scorer with 17 points in 22 minutes, and was one of three players who buried three 3-pointers, alongside fellow teammates Zach Graham (13 pts) and Angel Rodriguez (14 pts).
